Cogent Points To Consider Most When Building A Successful Affiliate Website

As we all know, designing a highly profitable affiliate website for our business is not going to be that easy. If it were that easy, everyone would have one of such by now. A lot of things needs to be put into consideration if we are going to achive this successfully.


In this very post, I'm going to explain to you shortly and coincisely, important things you need to consider when building your affiliate website.

And when I say an Affiliate website, I assume you already know what the term affiliate means. So back to the business of the day, the following would help you in building your own successful affiliate website, not for yourself alone but also for your website visitors and of course Google search engine.

If you follow these guidelines, you'll notice a considerable improvement in your rankings, your affiliate earnings and your website traffic. So let's get to it....

1. Great website Content- a website with great web content would keep its readers coming back for more. You must provide a lot of great contents for your readers. If you get to a website, with poor quality contents, or doesn't offer any useful resources, you will agree with me that, it would not take you 5 mins before you'll hit the back botton and move on in your search.

So if you don't provide quality contents that your readers would love , add values to their life and enjoy reading, they'll never want to come back to your website and of course, who would love to purchase from somebody with such a website?

On the other hand, if you are able to find the information you're looking for on the website satisfactorily or if the website offers, good articles, videos, pictures etc.. You'll not only be happy to purchase from the website owner, but you'll also keep coming back for more interesting and valuable information in the future.

2. Attractive Themes
By using attractive themes and designs on your website, it would sure make people to return to your website. I cannot imagine so many times I had to leave a website because of its poor look, I never even bothered to check if it has great content or not. Most people like to judge its book by its cover.

If you cannot design an attractive website, then what type of content would you be able to put on such a website? So also try as much as possible to have an attractive website. If you cannot do this yourself, hire somebody who can do so for you.

If you want to succeed online, you need to take this point very seriously. You don't need to be a webdesigner to achieve this, creating a beautiful website doesn't require complex coding knowledge. I'm not a webdesigner and I know nothing about html and yet I'm able to design this simple website myself.


3.Efficient Customer Service :It is very important in any business, either online or offline, its very important to have a very good customer relation service. People value it a lot. When you treat your customers with respect and courtesy, they'll respect and trust you the more.

A lot of people have commended me several times because of this, I am not trying to praise myself, I only want you to learn from me and incorporate it in your business too. I would briefly tell you how I do this, I have my emails connected to my Blackberry and Ipad, so if you send me a message, I'll see it and reply immediately, except if it entered my spam folder and of course, I also have an anti spam software so my important emails hardly enters my spam. If the message was sent in the midnight, l already have an autoresponder who will do the job for me, I have like 4 different nos that I use to receive my calls, so there's no how you won't be able to get me on at least one out of these nos.

 Even on weekends and holidays, I don't joke with my customers, I make sure I'm always available to take their calls or reply their texts/emails.

This has made a lot of people to want to deal with me and purchase from me, so doing these things would make you to gain more trust, reliabilty and it'll definitely increase your sale more and more. Treat your customers right and they'll stick with your forever.

4. Powerful opt-List
Like the popular saying goes, ''money is in the list'' I once had that the highest affiliate earners are the ones with a high no of subscribers. Its best to have an Email list from day one. Having an email list is not only one of the most important aspect in affiliate marketing but its also one of the most important things to incorporate in any internet marketing business.

What I meant by powerful opt-in-list is that, you must have something to offer people which would make them to want to subscribe to your emails. It may be free ebooks, softwares or even video. Depending on your choice

 5. Easy Navigation: even before you can get accepted for google adsense and google adwords, this must be well taken care of on your website. Navigation in this context means that, people must be able engage with your website, they must be able to find what they are looking for on your website. Your website pages and links must be properly arranged

6. Promotional Links and banner/affiliate tools
Remember we are talking of how to design an affiliate website, so you should already know how important this is. These are the tools that would be given to you at the point of registraton as an affiliate, you're to display them on your website so people can see them and click on it. Who knows, they might be interested in the product and hence, purchase it through you. Make sure you put the promotional items and links where people can easily see them and click on them.
